After winning the BCS National Championship Monday, Auburn quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Cameron Newton has decided to skip his senior year and apply for the NFL Draft. "This decision was difficult for me and my family," Newton said, adding that he made it after talking to coach Gene Chizik and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn.
Newton made major headlines this season when allegations surfaced that money was allegedly sought in the recruiting of the young quarterback.
