Week 13 Recap
- Cam Newton set yet another record this season during week 13 for the NFL most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single-season with 13 rushing touchdowns thus far. Newton had 204 passing yards and 1 touchdown along with 54 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns in Carolina's victory this past Sunday.
- News got out that Giants OT Andrews was hospitalized due to embolisms in both lungs.
- Washington Redskins' Fred Davis and Trent Williams have been suspended for 4 games, starting next week, due to positive testing of marijuana. Both were able to play this Sunday because they had not yet received their written notification of suspension. This was the 3rd offense for both players.
- Young has yet another game with 4 interceptions for the Eagles. But the Eagles will get a change of pace next week when Michael Vick returns to the lineup.
- In first appearance for the Chiefs Kyle Orton only entered the game for 1 play in Sunday's game.
- Titans' Johnson seem to have returned to his regular beast mode with 23 carries for 153 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns this past Sunday.
- Colts' Orlovskym, who played in place of Painter, had 30 of 37 pass completions for 353 passing yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Garcon had 9 catches for 150 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns for the Colts
- Tebow has continuously gotten better of the weeks and has now led the Broncos to the top of their division. This past Sunday the Broncos passed, yes I said passed, their way into the victory over the Vikings with Tebow having 10 of 15 pass completions for 202 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas for 4 of his passes for 144 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Ponder had 381 passing yards for 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions and Harvin continued to work magic with 8 catches for 156 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns for the Vikings.
- Raven's Rice had 29 carries for 204 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.
- Cowboy's Bailey missed a 49-yard field goal at the end of regulation that would have captured the victory of the Cowboys, instead the Cardinals won by 6 in overtime.
- Stafford had 408 passing yards but the Lions were still unable to seal the victory against the Saints. Drew Brees on the other hand had 342 passing yards for 3 touchdowns.
