Week 14 Recap
- Houston clinched the AFC South title sending the Texans to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Rookie quarterback Yates had 26 of 44 completions for 300 passing yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
- Saints were held to only scoring field goals throughout the first 3 quarters but still was able to fight back in the end and win.
- Eagles scored 24 points in the 2nd quarter alone. Vick returned this week after being out due to broken ribs. Vick had 208 passing yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception in his return.
- Falcons went into halftime down 23-7 coming back in the 2nd half and scored 24 unanswered points against the Panthers. Matt Ryan had 22 of 38 completions for 320 passing yards and 4 touchdowns, Julio Jones had 3 catches for 104 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Cam Newton had 19 of 39 completions for 276 passing yards 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
- Tebow had 21 of 40 completions for 236 passing yards 1 touchdown and threw his first interception as a NFL quarterback. Broncos' Prater sent the game into overtime making a 59-yard field goal with 2 seconds left in regulation and winning the game for the Broncos making a 51-yard field goal in overtrime.
- Giants' Nicks had 8 catches for 163 receiving yards in the Giants victory over the Cowboys.
- Seahawks' Lynch had 23 carries for 115 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.
