2011 NBA Draft

As predicted by many analysts and basketball fans Kyrie Irving was selected first in this years NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.  From Duke University the 6'2" 180 lbs guard has averaged 17.5 ppg, 4.3 apg and has a 90.1% FT going into the NBA.  Irving will be a great addition to the Cavs team as they continue to rebuild after losing Lebron James during last year's free agency.

Below is a list of the top 10 picks in this year's draft:

1st pick: Kyrie Irving, Guard (Cleveland Cavaliers)
2nd pick: Derrick Williams, Forward (Minnesota Timberwolves)
3rd pick: Enes Kanter, Forward (Utah Jazz)
4th pick: Tristan Thompson, Forward (Cleveland Cavaliers)
5th pick: Jonas Valanciunas, Center (Toronto Raptors)
6th pick: Jan Vosely, Forward (Washington Wizards)
7th pick: Bismack Biyombo, Forward (Sacramento Kings, proposed trade to Charlotte Bobcats)
8th pick: Brandon Knight, Guard (Detroit Pistons)
9th pick: Kemba Walker, Guard (Charlotte Bobcats)
10th pick: Jimmer Fredette, Guard (Milwaukee Bucks)
