Well, well, well looks like the Philadelphia Eagles have found their new head coach.

News has broke that the Eagles have hired Oregon's head coach Chip Kelly.  The Eagles fired coach Andy Reid December 31, 2012, just one day after their last game of the NFL regular season.  The firing of Reid came as no shocker to NFL fans after the Eagles went 4-12 this season.

What is a shocker is Chip Kelly becoming an eagle who at one point decided that he would return to Oregon.  Kelly went 46-7 in four years as the head coach of Oregon.  Chip interviewed with the Eagles, the Browns, and the Bills before originally stating that he decided to remain at Oregon.  Well he has changed his mind again and accepted the job with the Eagles who had interviewed approximately eleven candidates.  The fans so far has mixed feelings about Kelly being hired but Jeffrey Lurie, the owner of the Eagles is excited.
"Chip Kelly will be an outstanding head coach for the eagles.  He has a brilliant football mind.  He motivates his team with his actions as well as his words.  He will be a great leader for us and will bring a fresh, energetic approach to our team." - Jeffrey Lurie, Eagles Owner
