The Hawks have suspended Josh Smith one game due to conduct detrimental to the team. Hawks General Manager Danny Ferry announced the suspension today, although the action leading up to the suspension was not disclosed.
"Josh and I discussed the issue and he understood and accepted the course of action. We are confident that he will respond positively, learn from this experience and come back with a renewed sense of purpose to the team moving forward." -GM Danny Ferry
